I guess people are now moving on to those books ehem..ehem..."new moon" and the other novels. I have not read anyone of them for I am currently drawn back to Harry Potter. I have not read the last 3 books.
I managed to borrow the books from one of my Lao shi's daughter..so there....I'm happy!
I have forgotten about the story so I went back to re-read "the order of the phoenix" before proceeding with the last 2 books. Mom's been nagging at me and I can feel that she's "allergic" to books. She just couldn't stand the sight of books...or worst..me reading a book at home.
Ironically, she was the one who spoils me with books. I was not an avid reader back in my primary school days so she bought me all sorts of books to read and I had to read to her every night before I go to bed. (er...shouldn't it be the other way round?)
That's where I got hooked. Back in my secondary school days, she used to bring home super-thick novels that cost a bomb at Borders, Kinokuniya or even Times. She got them for free when tourists at her workplace gave the books to her after reading them.
I'm not a bookworm nor an avid reader but I enjoy reading.
It's a cool Saturday and I felt that it has been a while since we experienced showers. Good thing...it rained.
In any case, I shall go back to Harry Potter while Mom's away at work. Merlin's beard....
shucks...there's still housework...if only I'm a student of Hogwarts..."REPARO"..... (ok..too much of Harry Potter)
